Uncle Boyd

It is with deep regret that I am writing this today.

Last week, I received a phone call from my mother to tell me that Grandpa’s brother Boyd had passed. It is disheartening to see such a beautiful person leave us. I personally didn’t know Boyd very well, but I was proud of him. See, Uncle Boyd was Chaplain Lt. Col. Boyd Fallwell.

There are simply too few of us men like him. I don’t have the wisdom to speak on behalf of his service, but I am proud of who he is and that we share the same blood.

God speed Uncle Boyd. May you rest in peace with the Lord our God.
